Home Weatherization Assistance Program
"H-WAP" as it is customarily called, helps low-income homeowners and renters use less energy to heat their homes. Services include an energy audit of the dwelling, including inspection, cleaning and repair of the heating unit and conservation measures such as sidewall and attic insulation.
Persons who are elderly or have disabilities receive priority for services and eligible income for the household must not exceed 150% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
