Family Day Care Homes Program
The Family Day Care Homes Program reimburses home day care providers for meals they serve to children in their care. Meals must meet Type A School Meal patterns and day care providers must submit menus to CAA for approval to be eligible for reimbursement.
Day Care homes must pass an inspection and providers must agree to participate in nutrition education workshops and must submit reports monthly.
The Child and Adult Care Food Program is available to all eligible children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, age or handicap. Any person who believes that s/he has been discriminated against in any USDA related activity should immediately write to the Secretary of Agriculture, Washington D.C. 20250.
